About Dr. Nalbandian

Richard Nalbandian, Psy.D., is a licensed clinical psychologist. Dr. Nalbandian has extensive experience working with adults from various backgrounds on issues including anxiety, depression, grief, complex trauma, relationship struggles, family conflict, and personality troubles. He has worked in medical centers, universities, and community mental health clinics.

Dr. Nalbandian completed his internship and post-doctoral residency in Boston, Massachusetts as a fellow at the Danielsen Institute at Boston University. He has focused training in and provides psychotherapy for individuals, couples, and families. Additionally, he completed two years of post-graduate psychoanalytic training at the William Alanson White Institute in NYC for the treatment of Eating Disorders, Compulsions, and Addictions (EDCAS). Dr. Nalbandian's therapeutic style is relational and collaborative.

His practice is based out of Portland, Oregon, and is licensed to work with individuals in both Massachusetts (#11967) and Oregon (#3555).
